Tuxedo Lawns Warm Season Turf Program program takes a comprehensive approach towards providing all components needed to grow and sustain a dense, deep green lawn. With the utilization of pre emergents for weed prevention, herbicides to control existing weeds in the lawn, and balanced fertility rest assured that we will provide a lawn that is unmatched by others. The year round program is achieved with 8 applications that allow our technicians to treat the lawn at a frequency that will achieve success.
Fescue Turf Program.
Fescue turf in Georgia provides an option for a lawn that is green year round since it does not transition into dormancy in the winter months. The Tuxedo Lawns fescue turf program includes all components needed to provide a growing, deep green, dense turf as the seasons change. During the fall and winter months high grade sources of fertility are applied to work with your soil to grow and develop turf density. Sustaining fescue in the summer heat and stress period is achieved by applying solutions of fungicides, bio stimulants, and water management products that defy the laws of nature to give our customers a high quality lawn year round.
Preventative Fungicide Program.
As turf experiences stress from heat, spring and fall transition, and afternoon rainfall it becomes susceptible to a variety of diseases. Our preventative fungicide program helps prevent fungus before it occurs and gives residual control when weather conditions are favorable to disease.
Core Aeration.
Core aeration in combination with our turf care programs helps build a dense, weed free, healthy lawn throughout the growing season. Aeration will prevent soil compaction, help break down the thatch layer, and allow nutrients, water, and oxygen to be more readily available to the turf’s root system. Ideal timing of core aeration of warm season turf occurs in the spring and early summer months.
Plant Care Services
Tree and Shrub Program.
Our Tree and Shrub program will provide all sources of fertility, plant protection, and moisture management to ensure that your landscape achieves a bold and healthy appearance. Plant specific fertilizers will be applied during growing seasons to promote growth at correct times of the year to enhance vitality and vigor within the plant material. The fungicides and insecticides applied within our solutions will provide protection against the diseases and insects that inhibits the growth and development of your trees and plants. Our 8 Application tree and shrub program will improve the physical and biological aspects of the plant material to make them perform in your landscape.
Deep Root Tree Injections.
Deep root tree injection allows the injection nutrients, plant/tree protection products and hydration directly to a trees root system. The underground application also aerates the soil around the root system to allow new growth to more easily spread under the drip line of the tree. Plants and trees of all sizes and maturity levels can benefit from deep root injection.
Special Pest Applications
Fire Ant Control and Prevention.
Fire ant mounds within your turf and landscape are an unsightly nuisance that are easily controlled and prevented with our annual ant control application. With proper timing our application will eliminate the ants and their mounds while competing solutions only force the ants to move and remain.
Grub Control and Prevention.
White Grubs within the soil of your turf feed on the root system that provides the life line to a manicured lawn. As the life cycle of the grubs progress they transform into the beetles and bugs such as the Japanese beetle that feed on the foliage of trees and shrubs. Eliminating and preventing grubs within your turf and landscape with our grub control application is paramount in creating an environment free of insects for your turf and plants to thrive.
